Dear Prostate Cancer Survivor, Friends, and Volunteers:

We were delighted that thousands of walkers participated in the yearly Boston Prostate Cancer Walks. Our nine successful events have raised $3,220,000, and we awarded $3,000,000 for prostate cancer research and awareness. In 2009, $300,000 in grants will be awarded to Massachusetts organizations. A peer review panel will select the best proposals submitted. Boston Prostate Cancer Walk provides an opportunity to contribute to prostate cancer research to benefit you, your sons, your brothers, and future generations, to support institutions that perform prostate cancer research.

Thank you for joining us at the 2009 Boston Prostate Cancer Walk on Sunday, June 21, 2009. This year, more of our physicians walked with us, and we exceeded our goal to raising more than $250,000. Thank you for your support even if you could only walk for a short distance or not at all. Your presence was greatly appreciated as we need to show our legislators and corporate sponsors that we really do care and appreciate their help.
